Back from Atlanta Bound 2008....

I had an amazing time sharing my knowledge and experience with photography and rope at Atlanta Bound 2008. What a fabulous group of people and so hospitable. It was nothing short of awesome!!!

While I was there I received a Daily Deviation for an image taken in Los Angeles . It is one of my all time favorites for several reasons. The main reason is that it is a 30 second exposure using three lights blended with the natural light of the night with second curtain sync. The technology used for this type of image has been a work in process with me for more than 2 years now and I am very pleased with how it is progressing. Lots of rejected images as you can imagine but when it works they are pretty cool. If anyone wants me to share the secrets in using this method just drop me a note. If there is enough interest I will write an article on it.

With all the images I have posted from my trip to LA, the shoot when I returned and the DD the comments I have received have been overwhelming and appreciated. Favorites and new DA'ers friending me has been equally overwhelming. I thank you all for you appreciation and support for what I have been doing of late. I will answer as many comments as I can but it will take a while. In the interim please accept this as my acknowledgment to you and know you are appreciated by me very much. You are a fabulous audience and I am thrilled to be able to contribute to the overall DA community.
